Considering the events that have taken place recently with 3 billion people in the dark and 1.5 billion people data stolen with Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp “Interruption”, this should be a strong indication that borderless communication , serverless, unblockable and secure is one of the most important aspects that need to be implemented. This is exactly what Core Decentralized technologies with its Luna Mesh, CorePass and Core Communications protocols have successfully developed.

Today we are extremely proud to announce that we have successfully completed and implemented what was said to be impossible to develop. In addition to doing this through IoT devices, we can also make this connection between mobile phones and centralized platforms regardless of the operating system used, which makes this device protocol agnostic. Not only have we focused on our decentralized applications that we bring to market, but also to open the possibility for centralized environments to use this technology to establish secure connections, whether they are server-based or decentralized, the connection can be safely established, making it the first in the world to achieve this.

This solves all the problems, not only for cross-platform communications, but also for decentralized to centralized and decentralized to decentralized solutions to enable a secure connection between all devices that can prevent data interception or theft.

To take a few examples, this protocol has been implemented in CorePass, making it the most secure digital identity developed.

CorePass off-chain p2p communication layer:

CorePass, a decentralized solution for KYC and KYB, needed an off-chain communication mechanism to transfer KYC information between users. In addition, this information, given the importance of user privacy, cannot be trusted with a traditional centralized solution like WebSocket.

To meet this need, we have developed a completely decentralized p2p network as an off-chain communication layer. The actual network addresses of the users are broadcast using the Kademlia DHT. This way our users could find themselves without the help of a single point of failure. In addition, by using different appointments, this network can expand to millions of active users, without a problem.

After finding the network address, using the Core protocol, a p2p network connection will be initiated between the two sides of the transaction. In addition, this connection is end-to-end encrypted, so that no one can intercept the information transmitted. After that, the peers will authenticate using a technique called signature authentication to ensure that they are communicating with the correct user.

Besides the transfer of KYC information, this communication layer could also be used by DAPP developers. Unlike all the other solutions available, the developer does not need to rely on a centralized blockchain gateway to interact with the smart contract. Using this communication layer, they can send their RPC request directly to the CorePass app to be resolved against the thin node running on the mobile phone. Additionally, this tool would make installing a browser extension to be able to run DAPPs a thing of the past.

Last but not least, by not relying on centralized servers, users can be sure that the application will always be functional no matter what.
